In recent years, Thailand’s EV market has been experiencing a surge in demand, with the national goal of “30% EV share by 2030” steadily becoming a reality. As a key driver in Thailand’s EV sector, MG has been actively expanding its lineup of new energy vehicles while accelerating the deployment of local charging infrastructure.
Since 2022, EN Plus has established a deep partnership with MG, delivering efficient, intelligent, and safe charging solutions tailored to local needs. Recently, a new batch of Turbo Series DC fast chargers has been successfully deployed, covering MG’s key locations across Thailand and further enhancing its charging service network.
Highlights of the Turbo Series:
- Built for Southeast Asia: Operates reliably in extreme conditions from -30°C to +55°C and up to 95% humidity. Designed for heat and moisture resistance, ensuring stable performance around the clock.
- High-Speed Charging: Up to 120kW output, supporting 300A full-power delivery. Dual-gun charging enables fast turnaround during peak hours.
- Broad Compatibility: Supports CCS2, CHAdeMO, and GB/T standards, ensuring seamless compatibility with MG’s EV lineup and other mainstream electric vehicles in Thailand.
- Smart Connectivity: Features multiple start modes including App, RFID, and QR code. OCPP protocol support allows easy integration with local charging platforms.
- Enhanced Protection: Rated IP54/IK10 with built-in RCD and emergency stop button, ensuring safety in public use scenarios.
To date, MG has deployed over 30 Turbo Series 60kW DC fast chargers at petrol stations across Thailand. These units are running efficiently, forming the foundation of a fast-charging network in key areas. This milestone lays a solid groundwork for introducing higher-powered charging products in the near future.
At the same time, MG continues to localize EN Plus’s hardware and software offerings, improving user experience and accelerating the development of an integrated EV-and-charger energy ecosystem. Looking ahead, both parties will deepen their collaboration, expand into more use cases, and jointly promote the high-quality growth of Thailand’s new energy mobility landscape.
